Former Washington D.C. Mayor and current City Council Member Marion Barry was arrested last night for misdemeanor count of stalking. At about 8:45 p.m., a woman traveling near the intersection Good Hope Road and Anacostia Drive flagged down a U.S. Park Police officer to report that a man in a vehicle nearby was stalking her, said Sgt. David Schlosser, a Park Police spokesman. That man, Schlosser said, was Barry. Many know Marion Barry from his infamous undercover drug bust and video of the former mayor smoking rocks. Hopefully this foolishness will cease, and Mr. Barry will continue his civic service in a better light if the good people of the D.C. continue to elect this guy, SMDH.

This guy's life is now completely emersed in embarrasment. The prodigious influx of negative media has turned this once popular (black) figure's life into a joke only suitable for side-bar conversation. Wow Mr. Barry; crack, prostitution, now this. What a fall from grace. Its been a hard 30 days for black people.
