"The Ratchet Movement":KEYSHIA COLE IS...

I'm pushing this "Ratchet Movement", so all you siditty conservative women stand down. Let’s get ratched , lets get ratched….the type of ratchetness that I am referencing is not the one that’s synonymous with the concept of low class, tacky woman, but just the opposite.
Let’s start off by concurring that taste is subjective and it varies from person to person. With that being said all my young ladies with gold teeth, tattoos on their arms and neck, and one or two baby daddies put your hands in the air, because this one’s for you. No longer will I stand by and allow people to speak condescendingly about you while conversing in these boogie upscale social circles. So what if your hair is three different colors, that just shows your confidence and creativity. Not just anybody can get away with that, but my ghetto goddesses rock it flawlessly. Every time I see one of my hood queens I just get so excited and say to myself ‘there goes a strong black women that isn’t afraid to get down.” You may work at the call center, Popeyes, or at Harlem Knights but anytime your man hits you up you make yourself available. Not to mention that she always puts it down in the bedroom. While most uppity ostentatious broads tend to not want to sweat, because it may mess up their hair, she goes all out when its showtime and throw on a wig in the morning and go to work. After work she finds her way into the kitchen and cooks up some good ole soul food classics like smothered chicken with gravy and rice. Damn!!! Who wouldn’t want a woman like that?

So fellas peep game and stop neglecting our beautiful ratchet women, we must recognize them for the delicacy that they are. These women are a product of their environment and aren’t scared to let it show. And ladies if your possess ratchet attributes cultivate them, because you are the women of the future. Don’t be afraid to hop on this Ratchet Train because I’m taking this movement global.

At the end of the day I want everybody trying to be as ratched as possible. I’m out.

I had to add this song, this will our movement's Opus, enjoy...

I will never lower morals or standards to become one of the Rathets of the world. I have a good job and no kids. No time for baby daddy drama.

To respond to the previously posted comment. These young ladies current paternal and financial situations doesnt make any less of a good woman. I think your missing the point of the article.

The lives these women are living are not in line with the traditional concept of womamhood and should not be praised.

Ma just because you have excepted a traditional ideology doesnt make it the universal paradigm by which all women are to be measured.
